The Small Home Expo has been indefinitely Postponed

After weeks of poring over spreadsheets, endless phone calls, hours of legwork, and video meetings, we are forced to postpone the Small Home Expo indefinitely. All of our efforts to work with venue administration changes, increased overheads, and difficulties with ticketing and other items, have made it impossible to mount the show this year.

At this time, we’re seeking a new venue for this event.

Last year, TRADEX in Abbotsford was changed to a new contract management company. While the new Managers have generously tried to help us make this work, we’ve all now realized that the new administration model makes the show no longer suitable at that venue.

We are a Fraser Valley-based company, and we have actively worked to find a new venue to keep the show in Delta, Surrey, Cloverdale, Langley, Abbotsford, or other nearby locations. So far, we’ve been unable to find a location that has the square footage, the parking, the services, and most difficult of all, the door height needed to bring these beautiful homes under a large enough roof.

Thank you for all the support! We love this show, and interest has been overwhelmingly clear from the public, and from our Exhibitors.

Want to be kept updated? No problem. Just watch for emails to our newsletter list. (Subscribe at the very top of this page.) We promise to send updates when there is news. You can also watch our social media channels.

We are extremely grateful to all who have supported us, and continue to do so! We hope to see you very soon!
In Gratitude,
The EPM Team

7 Unexpected things I learned When I Downsized To A Small Apartment

Several years ago, we found ourselves in a situation where, for work reasons, we needed to temporarily leave Canada and move to a large US city. While moving two adults, one 5 year-old, and one medium-sized dog didn’t seem like a picnic, we knew it had to be done. So after a week of gnawing on the decision, we picked up everything, and moved across the border with about 3 months’ notice.
